NBA DFS Picks: Value + Stud for Sept. 26

NBA DFS Value Pick: Dwight Howard

DraftKings $4,200, FanDuel $8,000

This is an obvious play, but I am not sure it’s one we can avoid. Even with the high ownership considered, I think Howard is the best per dollar play in this game. On Wednesday, he entered the Lakers’ starting lineup and played his best game of the season. In hindsight, it seems obvious that JaVale McGee never should have played as the starting center ahead of Howard. Not only did Dwight provide excellent fantasy value with 30.75 DraftKings points in 23 minutes, he also played strong defense on Nikola Jokic. He held Jokic to one of his weaker games of the postseason and helped get him into foul trouble. There is even a case to play Howard in the Captain spot to fit in more All-Stars.
